ISO Mini Relay

ISO Mini Relays are the most common relays used in older vehicles or for general aftermarket automotive applications. ISO Mini Relays are available from Hella, Bosch, TE Connectivity (formerly Tyco), Littelfuse, Hongfa, HKE, and more.

Most modern vehicles have moved to smaller relay systems such as the ISO Micro Relay.

Available in many configurations, the most commonly available are the 4-pin SPST and the 5-pin SPDT (often called Bosch Style Relay).

ISO Mini Relay Pin Layouts

In the Type A layout, pins 86 and 30 are swapped compared with the more common Type B layout. Matching the pinout is crucial to avoid damaging electronics.

ISO Mini Relay terminals

The terminal widths used on 4 and 5 pin ISO Mini relays are almost always 6.3mm (0.250") wide.

ISO Mini Relay terminals are used in relay holders and fuse boxes from various companies such as Eaton and in the TE AMP MCP Series.
