The name comes from Alex Deutsch who started the company Deutsch Group in California - 1938.
The Deutsch Group was acquired by TE Connectivity in 2012 and the products are now a brand within the TE portfolio.
Deutsch products are used in a wide range of industries including F1, mining, medical, marine, automotive and aviation.
Their most commonly used range of connectors for automotive applications are the DT and DTM.
